A point-of-entry system treats the water where it enters the property, so every tap, shower and appliance downstream sees the same treated water. It is not a drinking-water system — its job is to protect the installation: sediment before it reaches the aerators, chlorine before it reaches the shower, and limescale before it reaches the boiler.

Flat, building or estate?

Single flat

One, two or three Big Blue housings on the incoming line, usually 10 or 20 inch. Sediment first, then carbon; a third stage is added where hardness is high.

Whole building or estate

Sized to the number of dwellings and the peak simultaneous draw, not to the number of taps. At this scale a backwashing sediment vessel and an automatic softener with a metered valve usually replace cartridge housings, because cartridge changes across a whole building become impractical.

Sized by flow, not by pipe diameter

The common mistake is choosing a housing to match the pipe. What matters is flow rate: a 20-inch Big Blue passes considerably more than a 10-inch at the same pressure drop, and undersizing shows up as weak showers rather than as a filter problem. Tell us the number of dwellings or the peak litres per minute and we will size it properly.

Cartridge changes

Sediment cartridges are changed when pressure drops noticeably, carbon on a time basis. Both are consumables and sit outside warranty cover; the housings, valves and vessels carry a 2-year warranty. Our service network covers all 39 districts of Istanbul and works across Türkiye for replacement and maintenance.
