Industrial Water Softener

The Industrial Water Softener is a professional limescale treatment system with 250 litres of cationic resin, designed for facilities with high water consumption; at 8 m³ an hour and 70 tonnes a day it protects the plumbing and equipment of hospitals, hotels, residential complexes, factories and well water systems from scaling.

01Problem & Solution

Limescale, the Plant’s Quiet Enemy

Problem

Limescale Finishes Equipment Off

The calcium and magnesium in hard water build up in boilers, water heaters, heat exchangers, pipes and machinery, cutting efficiency, raising energy consumption and driving up the cost of breakdowns and downtime.

Solution

High Capacity with 250 Litres of Resin

The Industrial Water Softener takes calcium and magnesium ions out of the water by ion exchange. With 250 litres of cationic resin it softens 8 m³ an hour and 70 tonnes a day.

02Key Features

High Flow, Fully Automatic

The Industrial Water Softener is designed to bring limescale permanently under control in facilities with heavy water consumption.

250 Litres of Cationic Resin

A large resin volume gives long service runs and steady softening even in hard water.

8 m³ an Hour

Its high peak flow keeps soft water coming even at the busiest hours in a crowded facility.

70 Tonnes a Day

Its high daily capacity comfortably covers consumption at factory, hotel and hospital scale.

Fully Automatic Regeneration

The unit backwashes and regenerates to the set programme with no human intervention.

Equipment Protection

Protecting boilers, water heaters, heat exchangers and machinery from limescale improves energy efficiency and extends their life.

Suitable for Well Water

It is an effective answer to limescale control in high-hardness well water systems too.

FeatureValueWhat it does
Unit TypeIndustrial SofteningWhere it is installed and how it produces water. An under-counter domestic unit and a commercial one do not run on the same line.
Resin Volume250 Litres CationicThe material that holds back limescale. The more of it, the greater the softening capacity.
Hourly Flow Rate8 m³/hourHow much water passes through per unit of time. A low flow rate drops the pressure when more than one tap is open.
Daily Capacity70 TonnesHow much water it can treat in a day. It should be at least 1.5 times your daily use.
OperationFully AutomaticHow the unit runs. Pumped models keep producing even when mains pressure is low.
RegenerationWith BrineHow the resin is regenerated. This is where salt consumption comes from.

04Applications

Where Is It Used?

The Industrial Water Softener is ideal for facilities with high-capacity water consumption.

  • Hospitals
  • Hotels
  • Residential Complexes & Apartment Blocks
  • Factories
  • Well Water Systems
  • Boiler Rooms
  • Laundries
  • RO Pre-Treatment

05How It Works

How Does the Industrial Water Softener Work?

  1. Hard Water Enters

Hard water carrying calcium and magnesium enters the vessel holding the 250 litre cationic resin bed.

  2. Ion Exchange

The resin captures the calcium and magnesium ions that cause hardness and releases sodium ions in their place.

  3. Using the Soft Water

Cleared of hardness, the soft water is fed to the facility’s utility and process lines at 8 m³ an hour.

  4. Automatic Regeneration

When the resin is exhausted the unit backwashes itself and regenerates the resin with brine from the salt tank.

  5. Return to Service

The regenerated resin comes back into service; all that is left to do is keep an eye on the salt level.

06Making the Right Choice

What Decides the Right Unit

When choosing the Industrial Water Softener, water analysis, flow rate and the need for continuity must be assessed correctly.

Water Hardness

A chemical analysis of the water should be carried out; the hardness level determines resin volume and regeneration frequency.

Peak Flow Requirement

The facility’s flow at peak hours must suit the 8 m³/hour capacity.

Continuity

If soft water is essential even during regeneration, a twin-tank system should be considered.

Space and Drainage

Space for the vessel, the salt tank and the drain line should be planned before installation.

07Maintenance and Use

Notes That Keep It Performing

  • The salt level in the brine tank should be checked regularly and topped up as it falls.
  • The hardness of the outlet water should be measured periodically; if it rises, the regeneration setting should be reviewed.
  • If there is sediment or an iron load at the inlet, pre-filtration should be used; fouled resin loses efficiency.
  • The valve and drain line should be checked regularly, and installation is best carried out by a technical service engineer.

08Frequently Asked Questions

Common Questions

What does the Industrial Water Softener do?
It removes the calcium and magnesium ions in water by ion exchange. With 250 litres of cationic resin, 8 m³ an hour and 70 tonnes a day, it protects plumbing, boilers and equipment from scaling.
Can softened water be drunk?
No. A softener removes hardness but not dissolved salts, and it adds sodium to the water. Softened water is for utility and process use; drinking water calls for a reverse osmosis system.
How does regeneration work?
The unit is fully automatic; it backwashes itself to the set programme and regenerates the resin with brine from the salt tank. All the user has to do is watch the salt level and top it up as it falls.
Is the water cut off during regeneration?
In single-tank systems softening pauses while regeneration runs. Where soft water is needed 24/7 without a break, a twin-tank (duplex) system should be chosen.
Can it be used on well water?
Yes, it is used on high-hardness well water systems too. However, if the well water carries sediment, iron or manganese, pre-treatment stages such as sand and carbon should be added ahead of it to protect the resin.

Delivery

Across Türkiye · 1–3 business days

Products in stock ship free anywhere in Türkiye and arrive within 1–3 business days. Items not in stock are supplied to order — the lead time is confirmed to you when the order is approved.

Installation and commissioning

Installation is a service · plumbing is the customer’s responsibility

The system is delivered ready to install; it only needs to be connected to the inlet and outlet lines. If valve setup is required, we provide free support over a video call. Installation and commissioning fall under our service work and are subject to a service fee. Plumbing labour and any pipes, valves and fittings are not included in the price; these items are the customer’s responsibility.

Warranty

2 years · manufacturer

The system is covered by a 2-year manufacturer warranty. During the warranty period, labour and parts are free for faults arising from manufacture or installation. Consumables such as filters, membranes and resin are outside warranty cover — they are replaced when their service life ends; they do not fail.

Site Survey

Free when the system is bought from us

The site survey is free when the system is purchased from us. A survey fee of ₺2,000 applies if you request the survey and measurement only.

Withdrawal and returns

Distance sales agreement

The right of withdrawal and the return terms are set out in detail in the distance sales agreement. Systems that have been installed and commissioned, and made-to-order products, are outside its scope.

Cancellation and return terms

How can we help?

Two different requests, two different forms.

The two forms ask different things: if we are building a new system we ask about your water and capacity; if your existing system needs service we ask for its brand and a photo.
