The Right Water for the Plant: Greenhouse Water Treatment Systems

Greenhouse Water Treatment Systems are professional systems that clear the irrigation water used in greenhouse and soilless growing of salinity, hardness, heavy metals and unwanted ions. With a 1354 vessel, a digital valve and two reverse osmosis membranes, they deliver between 5 and 10 tonnes a day, and EC and TDS are brought under control to suit the crop.

01Problem & Solution

No Soil Means No Buffer

Problem

The Water Reaches the Root Directly

In hydroponic growing the plant takes all its nutrition from the water; there is no soil to buffer it. Chlorine, heavy metals and excess minerals go straight to the root. And water with a high EC or TDS throws out the calculation of the nutrient solution.

Solution

Water Quality Under Control

Greenhouse Water Treatment Systems bring the water in line with what the plant needs through pre-treatment, softening and reverse osmosis stages. With EC, TDS and pH measured, the nutrient solution becomes something you can calculate precisely.

02Key Features

Measurable, Automatic, Focused on Yield

With their multi-stage design, Greenhouse Water Treatment Systems bring irrigation water up to production standard.

Two RO Membranes

The main treatment stage separates out up to 99% of dissolved salts, heavy metals, nitrate and sulphate.

1354 Vessel & Digital Valve

The pre-treatment vessel and digital valve manage backwash and regeneration automatically.

EC / TDS / pH Monitoring

Sensors show water quality in real time, and the readings are optimised for the crop.

Automatic Backwash

The first stage captures sand, silt, rust and visible sediment, and washes itself automatically.

Membrane Protection Through Softening

Removing calcium and magnesium prevents scaling on the membrane and extends its life.

Scaled to the Project

Capacity and stages can be resized around the greenhouse’s size and the water analysis.

04Applications

Where Is It Used?

Greenhouse Water Treatment Systems are used where the quality of the irrigation water directly determines the yield.

  • Greenhouses
  • Soilless Growing Facilities
  • Hydroponic Production
  • Seedling & Sapling Production
  • Growers on Well & Borehole Water
  • High-Salinity Regions
  • Drip Irrigation Lines
  • Ornamental Plant & Flower Growing

05How It Works

How Do Greenhouse Water Treatment Systems Work?

  1. Pre-Filtration

The first stage, with automatic backwash, captures sand, silt, rust and visible sediment.

  2. The Softening Stage

Calcium and magnesium ions are exchanged for sodium, preventing scaling on the membrane.

  3. Reverse Osmosis Treatment

Two membranes separate out dissolved salts, heavy metals, nitrate and sulphate under high pressure.

  4. EC / TDS Control

The digital valve and sensors monitor conductivity, total dissolved solids and pH continuously.

  5. Fed to the Irrigation Line

The treated water goes into the tank, the nutrient solution is calculated, and it is fed to the drip line.

06Making the Right Choice

What Decides the Right System

When choosing Greenhouse Water Treatment Systems, the water analysis, the size of the greenhouse and the crop should be assessed together.

Water Analysis

EC, TDS, hardness and heavy metal readings determine which stages are needed.

Daily Water Requirement

The greenhouse area and the number of plants directly affect the tonnes-a-day capacity required.

The Crop

Every plant has its own ideal EC range, and the target figure shapes how the system is put together.

Water Source

Well, borehole or mains water determines the pre-treatment needed and the choice of membrane.

07Maintenance and Use

Notes That Keep It Performing

With regular maintenance, Greenhouse Water Treatment Systems deliver consistent water quality for years.

  • EC and TDS should be measured regularly; a sudden rise points to a problem with the membrane or the resin.
  • The salt at the softening stage should be checked; with no salt the resin cannot be renewed and the membrane is put at risk.
  • The pre-filter stage should be checked periodically, and the backwash settings updated to match how dirty the water is.
  • When output falls the membranes should be checked, and a CIP chemical clean carried out where needed.

08Frequently Asked Questions

Common Questions

What do Greenhouse Water Treatment Systems do?
They clear the irrigation water used in greenhouse and soilless growing of salinity, hardness, heavy metals and unwanted ions. Through reverse osmosis and pre-treatment stages they supply water suited to the plant, with EC and TDS you can control.
What is the daily capacity?
The standard system, with a 1354 vessel, a digital valve and two reverse osmosis membranes, produces between 5 and 10 tonnes a day. The capacity varies with how contaminated the water is, and output falls on dirtier water.
Why do EC and TDS matter so much?
In hydroponic growing the plant takes all its nutrition from the water. If the incoming water’s EC or TDS is high, the calculation of the nutrient solution is thrown out, which can lead to nutritional imbalance and lost yield.
Is a softening stage essential?
It is necessary in high-hardness water. If calcium and magnesium are not removed, scale builds on the membrane surface; softening extends membrane life markedly.
Is it suitable for larger greenhouses?
This capacity is for mid-sized greenhouses. For larger areas the system can be engineered at a higher capacity from the water analysis and daily consumption.

Delivery

Across Türkiye · 1–3 business days

Products in stock ship free anywhere in Türkiye and arrive within 1–3 business days. Items not in stock are supplied to order — the lead time is confirmed to you when the order is approved.

Installation and commissioning

Installation is a service · plumbing is the customer’s responsibility

The system is delivered ready to install; it only needs to be connected to the inlet and outlet lines. If valve setup is required, we provide free support over a video call. Installation and commissioning fall under our service work and are subject to a service fee. Plumbing labour and any pipes, valves and fittings are not included in the price; these items are the customer’s responsibility.

Warranty

2 years · manufacturer

The system is covered by a 2-year manufacturer warranty. During the warranty period, labour and parts are free for faults arising from manufacture or installation. Consumables such as filters, membranes and resin are outside warranty cover — they are replaced when their service life ends; they do not fail.

Site Survey

Free when the system is bought from us

The site survey is free when the system is purchased from us. A survey fee of ₺2,000 applies if you request the survey and measurement only.

Withdrawal and returns

Distance sales agreement

The right of withdrawal and the return terms are set out in detail in the distance sales agreement. Systems that have been installed and commissioned, and made-to-order products, are outside its scope.

How can we help?

Two different requests, two different forms.

The two forms ask different things: if we are building a new system we ask about your water and capacity; if your existing system needs service we ask for its brand and a photo.
