What to choose between

Standard and luxury models differ mainly in finish and spout height — a taller spout matters if you fill jugs and kettles rather than glasses. Stainless steel models suit hard water, where plated finishes show limescale marking sooner. Digital models carry a small display showing outlet TDS, which is a genuinely useful way to notice a membrane reaching the end of its life before the taste changes.

Fitting

Most sinks have a blanking plug or a spare hole; granite and composite worktops need drilling, which is plumbing work rather than part of the system installation. Check the hole diameter against the faucet shank before ordering — it is the single most common return in this category.
