Industrial Limescale Treatment Unit

The Industrial Limescale Treatment Unit is a central water softening system with 150 litres of cationic resin, designed for residential complexes of 20-30 apartments, apartment inlets, mid-sized hotels, hospitals and factories; it removes hardness at source and protects the whole building’s plumbing from scaling.

01Problem & Solution

The Building’s Shared Limescale Problem

Problem

Every Flat Fighting It Separately

Hard water scales up the boiler, the water heater and the white goods in every single flat. The central heating system and the shared pipework wear down too; energy consumption rises and the cost of breakdowns and maintenance with it.

Solution

One Answer at the Building Inlet

With 150 litres of cationic resin, the Industrial Limescale Treatment Unit removes hardness at the building inlet. Every flat and all the shared pipework is protected by a single system.

02Key Features

The Right Capacity for a Mid-Sized Building

The Industrial Limescale Treatment Unit is designed to solve the limescale problem of mid-sized buildings and businesses for good.

150 Litres of Cationic Resin

A resin volume matched to a mid-sized building’s daily consumption gives steady softening.

Suits 20-30 Apartments

At complex and apartment inlets it covers the shared water needs of buildings of 20-30 flats.

Central Protection

Installed at a single point, it protects every flat, every boiler and all the shared pipework at once.

Fully Automatic Regeneration

The unit backwashes itself and renews the resin with brine, so it needs no constant attention.

Energy Savings

Scale-free water improves heating efficiency in boilers and water heaters and lowers energy consumption.

Better Value on the Service Charge

Protecting the whole building with one unit markedly reduces the cost per flat.

04Applications

Who Is It For?

The Industrial Limescale Treatment Unit is ideal for central limescale protection in mid-sized buildings and businesses.

  • Complexes of 20-30 Apartments
  • Apartment Inlets
  • Mid-Sized Hotels
  • Hospitals
  • Factories
  • Boiler Rooms
  • Business Centres
  • Hard Water Areas

05How It Works

How Does the Industrial Limescale Treatment Unit Work?

  1. Installed at the Building Inlet

The unit is installed on the building’s main water inlet, so it feeds every flat and all the shared pipework.

  2. Hard Water Enters

Hard water carrying calcium and magnesium enters the vessel holding the 150 litre cationic resin bed.

  3. Ion Exchange

The resin captures the calcium and magnesium ions that cause hardness and releases sodium ions in their place.

  4. Soft Water Distributed

Cleared of hardness, the water is distributed to every flat in the building and to the shared pipework.

  5. Automatic Regeneration

When the resin is exhausted the unit backwashes itself and renews it with brine, and the cycle continues without interruption.

06Making the Right Choice

What Determines the Right Capacity

When choosing the Industrial Limescale Treatment Unit, the number of flats, the water hardness and the flow rate must be assessed correctly.

Flats and Residents

Buildings of 20-30 flats suit this capacity; larger buildings call for an industrial model.

Water Hardness

A chemical analysis of the water should be carried out; the hardness level directly determines how often regeneration occurs.

Peak Flow

The building’s flow at peak hours must suit the unit’s capacity.

Space and Drainage

There must be enough room in the plant room for the vessel, the salt tank and the drain line.

07Maintenance and Use

Notes That Keep It Performing

  • The salt level in the brine tank should be checked regularly; with no salt, no regeneration takes place.
  • The hardness of the outlet water should be measured periodically; if it rises, the regeneration setting should be reviewed.
  • If there is sediment, iron or manganese at the inlet, pre-filtration should be used; fouled resin loses efficiency.
  • The valve and drain line should be checked regularly, and installation is best carried out by a technical service engineer.

08Frequently Asked Questions

Common Questions

What does the Industrial Limescale Treatment Unit do?
It removes the calcium and magnesium ions in water by ion exchange. With 150 litres of cationic resin it protects all the plumbing in complexes, apartment blocks, hotels, hospitals and factories of 20-30 flats from scaling.
How many flats is it enough for?
The unit is designed for buildings of 20-30 flats. That range is a general guide; real performance varies with the hardness of the water and the building’s daily consumption.
Does every flat need its own unit?
No. The unit is installed on the building’s main water inlet and feeds every flat from that one point, which makes the cost per flat markedly lower than buying a unit for each one.
Can softened water be drunk?
No. A softener removes hardness but not dissolved salts, and it adds sodium to the water. Softened water is for utility use; drinking water calls for a separate reverse osmosis system.
Is it hard to maintain?
No. The unit is fully automatic and carries out the backwash and regeneration itself. The routine tasks are keeping an eye on the salt level in the brine tank and measuring the hardness of the outlet water periodically.

Products in stock ship free anywhere in Türkiye and arrive within 1–3 business days. Items not in stock are supplied to order — the lead time is confirmed to you when the order is approved.

Installation and commissioning

Installation is a service · plumbing is the customer’s responsibility

The system is delivered ready to install; it only needs to be connected to the inlet and outlet lines. If valve setup is required, we provide free support over a video call. Installation and commissioning fall under our service work and are subject to a service fee. Plumbing labour and any pipes, valves and fittings are not included in the price; these items are the customer’s responsibility.

Warranty

2 years · manufacturer

The system is covered by a 2-year manufacturer warranty. During the warranty period, labour and parts are free for faults arising from manufacture or installation. Consumables such as filters, membranes and resin are outside warranty cover — they are replaced when their service life ends; they do not fail.

Withdrawal and returns

Distance sales agreement

The right of withdrawal and the return terms are set out in detail in the distance sales agreement. Systems that have been installed and commissioned, and made-to-order products, are outside its scope.

How can we help?

Two different requests, two different forms.

The two forms ask different things: if we are building a new system we ask about your water and capacity; if your existing system needs service we ask for its brand and a photo.
