04Applications

Where Is It Used?

The WaterPoint Treating Dispenser suits places that need continuous cold and hot drinking water.

  • Homes
  • Offices
  • Workplaces
  • Hospitals
  • Waiting Areas
  • Schools & Institutions
  • Anyone Giving Up Bottled Water
  • Cafés & Restaurants

05How It Works

How Does the WaterPoint Treating Dispenser Work?

  1. It Is Connected to the Mains

The dispenser is connected to the mains water line; a 24 V solenoid valve controls the inlet and directs the water to the filter stages.

  2. Through the Five Filter Stages

Carried forward by a 24 V pump, the water is treated through the sediment and carbon stages for particles, chlorine, taste and odour.

  3. It Is Stored in a Stainless Reservoir

The treated water is stored in an 8.5 litre 304 stainless cold water tank; when it is full the float cuts the water automatically.

  4. Chilled (Hot Optional)

The water is prepared in a chiller adjustable by manual thermostat; with the hot water option, a 2 litre tank heats at 5 L/hour.

  5. Served at the Tap

The user draws fresh, clear drinking water easily from the dispenser tap.

06Making the Right Choice

What Decides the Right Dispenser

When choosing the WaterPoint Treating Dispenser, the intensity of use, water options and the space should be assessed.

How Heavily It Is Used

Daily water consumption and the number of people determine whether the 8.5 litre cold water tank is enough.

Water Options

Optional features such as hot water, a sensor or a pedal should be chosen according to need.

Siting & Connection

The position of the unit, the mains connection and access to a socket should be planned in advance.

Maintenance & Service

Regular filter changes and service support matter for long, trouble-free use.

07Maintenance and Use

Notes That Preserve Hygiene

  • The filters should generally be changed every 6–12 months; a filter past its time reduces the quality and taste of the water.
  • The internal reservoir and taps should be cleaned regularly for hygiene.
  • After a long period without use, running a few glasses of water through refreshes the reservoir and lines.
  • With the Water Point annual service package, filter changes and hygiene maintenance can be carried out regularly.

Installation and commissioning

Installation is a service · plumbing is the customer’s responsibility

The system is delivered ready to install; it only needs to be connected to the inlet and outlet lines. If valve setup is required, we provide free support over a video call.
