How Does the Twin Building Inlet Filter Work?
Water Enters from the Main Line
Water from the main line is first directed into the sediment housing at stage one.
The Sediment Is Captured
The sediment stage captures sand, rust and silt, clarifying the water and protecting the carbon.
Chlorine Removal in the Carbon Stage
As the water passes through the activated carbon stage, chlorine, off-taste and odour are adsorbed.
Clean Water Is Delivered
Freed of sediment and chlorine, clear, odour-free water goes out to the building’s supply line.

07Maintenance and Replacement
Notes That Keep It Performing
- The sediment cartridge should be changed periodically according to the sediment load, and the activated carbon cartridge according to the chlorine load.
- The taste or smell of chlorine returning to the water is the sign that the carbon cartridge is saturated.
- Where finer particle capture is needed, it can be upgraded to the triple model, which adds a further sediment stage to the same arrangement.

What does the Twin Building Inlet Filter do?
It works in two stages on the main line: the sediment stage captures sand, rust and silt, and the activated carbon stage removes chlorine, off-taste and odour. The household water is both clearer and cleaner smelling.
How does it differ from the single model?
The same housing arrangement is used; the twin model adds an activated carbon stage to the single. That means chlorine and odour are removed as well as sediment.
Does it make the water drinkable?
No. It clears the household water of sediment and chlorine but does not treat it to drinking standard. Reverse osmosis is needed for drinking water.
Does it remove limescale?
No. The sediment and carbon stages do not reduce the water’s hardness. A water softener is needed for limescale.

Warranty
2 years · manufacturerThe system is covered by a 2-year manufacturer warranty. During the warranty period, labour and parts are free for faults arising from manufacture or installation. Consumables such as filters, membranes and resin are outside warranty cover — they are replaced when their service life ends; they do not fail.
Withdrawal and returns
Distance sales agreementThe right of withdrawal and the return terms are set out in detail in the distance sales agreement. Systems that have been installed and commissioned, and made-to-order products, are outside its scope.
