Reverse Osmosis · 320 L/h · Compact Frame
The Compact Reverse Osmosis Unit brings three stages of 20 inch pre-filters, a rotary-type pump, two 4 inch (40×21) reverse osmosis membranes and a 220 V control panel with a mechanical board together on a single carbon steel frame measuring 560 × 380 × 880 mm. Its nominal capacity is 320 litres an hour; over 24 hours of operation this equates to roughly 7.7 tonnes of water. The unit drives water under pressure through a semi-permeable membrane, holding back dissolved solids and many inorganic substances and diverting them to the reject line.
01Problem & Solution
Problem
Sediment, chlorine, hardness and dissolved salts can all be present together in mains and well water. Cartridge filters hold back sediment and activated carbon holds back chlorine, taste and odour, but the salts dissolved in the water pass through these stages. Water high in dissolved solids shows itself as a difference in taste when making coffee, tea and ice, and as limescale build-up in equipment.
Solution
The Compact Reverse Osmosis Unit pressurises the water coming from the pre-filters with a pump and drives it through a semi-permeable membrane. Dissolved solids and many inorganic substances are held at the membrane and diverted to the reject line; the treated product water is drawn off through a separate line.
02Key Features
The Compact Reverse Osmosis Unit brings every component, from pre-filtration to the control panel, together on the same frame.
Two 40×21-type reverse osmosis membranes work in the unit; the nominal capacity of 320 litres an hour is delivered by these two membranes.
A 5 micron sediment filter, a blended filter containing half polyphosphate and half granular activated carbon (GAC), and a CTO carbon filter prepare the water for the membrane.
The pump raises the water coming from the pre-filters to the pressure the membrane needs to work; the working pressure is set with the regulating valve at the pump outlet.
A low-pressure switch stops the unit when the feed pressure drops; a float switch with a 5 metre cable manages operation according to the level in the product water tank.
The product water and reject water flow meters show the flow in the two lines and the pressure gauge shows the working pressure; the balance between product and reject is set with the reject line regulating valve.
The powder-coated carbon steel frame measures 560 × 380 × 880 mm; the 220 V control panel with its mechanical board and the solenoid automatic valves are also mounted on this frame.

05How It Works
In reverse osmosis, water is driven under high pressure through a semi-permeable membrane. The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) states in its overview of treatment technologies that pre-treatment is often needed to keep the membrane from fouling and clogging. The Compact Reverse Osmosis Unit carries out this process in five steps.
The water first passes through a 20 inch, 5 micron sediment filter, where sand, rust and suspended sediment are held back.
In the second stage, granular activated carbon adsorbs chlorine, taste and odour, while the polyphosphate helps limit limescale formation.
The CTO carbon filter in the third stage holds back the remaining chlorine, taste and odour, preparing the water for the membrane.
The rotary-type pump pressurises the water; as it passes through the two 4 inch membranes, dissolved substances are held back. The product water leaves through one line, and the reject water carrying the retained substances leaves through a separate line.
The product water is collected in a tank. Through the control panel with its mechanical board, the float switch stops and starts the unit according to the tank level, and the low-pressure switch according to the feed pressure; the solenoid valves open and close the line automatically.
06Making the Right Choice
When choosing the Compact Reverse Osmosis Unit, daily demand, the raw water analysis, the installation infrastructure and the tank plan should be assessed together.
A nominal capacity of 320 litres an hour equates to roughly 7.7 tonnes over 24 hours of operation; consumption at peak times is met from the tank.
Hardness, chlorine, iron and turbidity values determine which pre-treatment units are needed ahead of the unit.
A 220 V power supply, sufficient feed pressure and a drain line to discharge the reject water must be ready before installation.
The product water tank is chosen separately; the 5 metre cable of the float switch determines how the tank and the unit are positioned relative to each other.
07Maintenance and Use
The Compact Reverse Osmosis Unit runs steadily when the pre-filters are changed on time and the unit is monitored regularly.

The system is delivered ready to install; it only needs to be connected to the inlet and outlet lines. If valve setup is required, we provide free support over a video call. Installation and commissioning fall under our service work and are subject to a service fee. Plumbing labour and any pipes, valves and fittings are not included in the price; these items are the customer’s responsibility.
This product is covered by a 2-year manufacturer warranty. During the warranty period, labour and parts are free for faults arising from manufacture. Consumables such as filters, membranes and resin are outside warranty cover — they are replaced when their service life ends; they do not fail.
The site survey is free when the system is purchased from us. A survey fee of ₺2,000 applies if you request the survey and measurement only.
The right of withdrawal and the return terms are set out in detail in the distance sales agreement. Systems that have been installed and commissioned, and made-to-order products, are outside its scope.
