05How It Works

How Does the 15 Tonne Reverse Osmosis System Work?

  1. Pre-Treatment

    To protect the membranes, the raw water passes through pre-filtration and, where needed, a softening or antiscalant stage.

  2. Pressure from the Rotary Pump

    The brass rotary high-pressure pump drives the water onto the TechFlow membranes at high flow.

  3. Separation at the Membrane

    As the water molecules pass through the membrane, dissolved salts, heavy metals, bacteria and viruses are held back.

  4. Permeate and Concentrate

    The treated water goes to the tank and the salt-concentrated reject is sent to drain by the automatic valves.

  5. High-Capacity Production

    Quality water is delivered to the process line or the point of use at 15 tonnes a day.

What Determines the Right Capacity

When choosing the 15 Tonne Reverse Osmosis System, water consumption and feed water quality must be assessed correctly.

Daily Water Requirement

Fifteen tonnes a day is for medium to large sites; if the need is around 5 tonnes, a smaller model may be enough.

Raw Water Analysis

The feed water’s TDS, hardness, iron and silica figures determine the output and the pre-treatment design.

Pre-Treatment Requirement

In hard or chlorinated water, softening, carbon and antiscalant pre-treatment extend membrane life.

Installation and Storage

Suitable installation space and a storage tank for the capacity should be planned in advance.

07Maintenance and Use

Notes That Keep It Performing

  • The pre-filters should be changed periodically and the RO membranes renewed every 1.5-2 years, depending on conditions.
  • The pump pressure and solenoid valves should be checked regularly, and a membrane clean (CIP) carried out when output falls.
  • The feed water’s TDS, iron and silica limits should be maintained, and antiscalant dosed where there is a scaling risk.
  • The storage tank should be kept hygienic and the system’s efficiency assured by periodic technical service.

Installation and commissioning

Installation is a service · plumbing is the customer’s responsibility

The system is delivered ready to install; it only needs to be connected to the inlet and outlet lines. If valve setup is required, we provide free support over a video call. Installation and commissioning fall under our service work and are subject to a service fee. Plumbing labour and any pipes, valves and fittings are not included in the price; these items are the customer’s responsibility.

Warranty

2 years · manufacturer

The system is covered by a 2-year manufacturer warranty. During the warranty period, labour and parts are free for faults arising from manufacture or installation. Consumables such as filters, membranes and resin are outside warranty cover — they are replaced when their service life ends; they do not fail.

Site Survey

Free when the system is bought from us

The site survey is free when the system is purchased from us. A survey fee of ₺2,000 applies if you request the survey and measurement only.

Withdrawal and returns

Distance sales agreement

The right of withdrawal and the return terms are set out in detail in the distance sales agreement. Systems that have been installed and commissioned, and made-to-order products, are outside its scope.
