UV Spare Part · Power Unit
The Ultraviolet Adaptor is the electronic power unit (ballast) that runs the lamp in a UV water treatment unit. It converts mains electricity into the direct current and voltage the lamp needs, so the lamp works steadily and efficiently. If it fails, the lamp does not light and treatment stops.
01Problem & Solution
Problem
Even when the lamp of a UV unit is sound, it will not light if the power unit (adaptor/ballast) fails. The unit then cannot deliver ultraviolet light to the water and microbiological treatment stops.
Solution
The Ultraviolet Adaptor feeds the lamp with the correct current and voltage so that it runs steadily. When an adaptor matched to the lamp wattage is chosen, treatment continues without interruption and lamp life is preserved.
02Key Features
The Ultraviolet Adaptor is a spare part designed to run the lamp of a UV unit safely and steadily.
It converts mains voltage into the direct current the lamp needs, giving flicker-free operation.
Models matched to the lamp wattage give fully compatible and efficient operation.
Correct supply prevents the lamp from wearing out early and keeps treatment performance up for a long time.
Its compact body is easily placed beside the unit or in its panel.
Fitted in place of the failed adaptor, it quickly brings the unit back into service.
A sound adaptor lets the unit continue its microbiological treatment without interruption.

04Applications
The Ultraviolet Adaptor is used as the power unit in every UV water treatment unit that contains a lamp.
05How It Works
The adaptor takes the mains electricity from the socket as its input and directs it to its internal circuits.
Its electronics convert the voltage into the direct current and level the lamp needs.
The converted energy is fed to the lamp; the lamp lights and begins to produce ultraviolet light.
By holding the current steady, the adaptor keeps the lamp running flicker-free and efficiently.
As long as the lamp runs without interruption, the unit continues to give the water microbiological safety.
06Making the Right Choice
When choosing the Ultraviolet Adaptor, the power of the lamp and the connection type must be established correctly.
The adaptor must match the wattage of the lamp in the unit; mismatched power will not run the lamp.
The socket and cable connection must suit the unit; the correct connection makes for safe use.
The safest route is to match the specifications of the old adaptor in the unit exactly with the new one.
The adaptors of domestic and industrial units can differ; the choice should follow the type of unit.

The system is delivered ready to install; it only needs to be connected to the inlet and outlet lines. If valve setup is required, we provide free support over a video call. Installation and commissioning fall under our service work and are subject to a service fee. Plumbing labour and any pipes, valves and fittings are not included in the price; these items are the customer’s responsibility.
The system is covered by a 2-year manufacturer warranty. During the warranty period, labour and parts are free for faults arising from manufacture or installation. Consumables such as filters, membranes and resin are outside warranty cover — they are replaced when their service life ends; they do not fail.
The right of withdrawal and the return terms are set out in detail in the distance sales agreement. Systems that have been installed and commissioned, and made-to-order products, are outside its scope.
