How Is the TDS Meter Used?
Switch It On
Take the cap off and switch it on, making sure the electrodes are clean and dry.
Dip the Electrodes In
Take the water to be measured in a glass and dip the electrodes at the bottom of the meter in as far as the line.
The Conductivity Is Read
The meter measures the water’s electrical conductivity and converts it into a TDS figure using a factor.
Read the Figure
Read the ppm figure once it settles on the display, giving the meter a gentle shake to clear any air bubbles.
Compare
Measure the inlet and outlet water separately to assess the treatment performance and the state of the filters.
