Teknaevo TPR Series · pH / Redox Controlled

Automatic Chemical Management with the ORP-Controlled Dosing Pump

The ORP-Controlled Dosing Pump is a digital dosing pump that reads the water’s live value through its built-in pH and redox control unit and sets the chemical dose itself. The Teknaevo TPR series works on demanding chemical lines with a 4-20 mA output, a level control input, an IP65 body and PVDF-PTFE construction.

01Problem & Solution

Dosing by Hand Upsets the Balance

Problem

A Fixed Dose, Changing Water

The pH and redox value of water changes continuously through the day. A system running on a fixed dose gives too much chemical at times and too little at others; consumption costs rise and the target water balance is never held.

Solution

A Pump That Measures and Adjusts Itself

The ORP-Controlled Dosing Pump reads the measured value through its built-in control unit and changes the dose accordingly. Chemical is given as needed, the water balance stays steady and consumption becomes predictable.

02Key Features

Digital, Durable, Integrated

The ORP-Controlled Dosing Pump brings measurement and dosing together in one body.

Built-In pH / Redox Control

Measurement and the dosing decision are handled by one unit, with no separate control panel needed.

4-20 mA Output

The measurement data can be passed to higher-level control systems over an industry-standard analogue output.

Level Control Input

When the chemical tank runs empty the pump raises an alarm, reducing the risk of running dry.

IP65 Protection Rating

A body protected against dust and splashing water suits plant room conditions.

PVDF Head & PTFE Diaphragm

Materials with high chemical resistance give long life with aggressive dosing fluids.

Four Capacity Options

Versions at 4, 5, 6 and 8 l/hour suit lines of different sizes.

04Applications

Where Is It Used?

The ORP-Controlled Dosing Pump is used on lines where the chemical balance must be monitored continuously.

  • Swimming Pools
  • Water Treatment Plants
  • Industrial Process Lines
  • Cooling Water Systems
  • Wastewater Lines
  • Chlorine Dosing Lines
  • pH Adjustment (Acid/Alkali) Lines
  • Greenhouse & Irrigation Systems

05How It Works

How Does the ORP-Controlled Dosing Pump Work?

  1. The Probe Takes a Reading

The pH or redox probe fitted in the line reads the water’s live value and passes it to the pump.

  2. It Is Compared with the Set Point

The built-in control unit compares the measured value with the target the user has entered.

  3. The Diaphragm Delivers the Dose

The PTFE diaphragm delivers the chemical in the PVDF head to the line in the calculated amount.

  4. Level and Alarms Are Monitored

The level control input tracks the state of the tank, and the pump raises an alarm when the chemical runs out.

  5. The Data Goes Out

The measured value is sent over the 4-20 mA output to a PLC or monitoring system and recorded.

06Making the Right Choice

Which Capacity Is Right for You?

When choosing the ORP-Controlled Dosing Pump, line pressure, dose rate and chemical type should be assessed together.

Line Pressure

High-pressure lines suit the 4 l/hour at 12 bar option; low-pressure lines the 8 l/hour at 2 bar.

Dose Rate

The hourly chemical requirement directly determines the choice within the 4-8 l/hour range.

Chemical Type

The PVDF head and PTFE diaphragm suit a wide range of chemicals, but compatibility should still be confirmed.

Control Requirements

Where data must reach a higher-level system, this series with its 4-20 mA output integrates directly.

07Maintenance and Use

Notes That Keep the Dose Right

The ORP-Controlled Dosing Pump runs steadily with regular calibration and checks.

  • pH and redox probes should be calibrated regularly; a probe out of calibration leads to the wrong dose.
  • The suction and discharge hoses and the injection valve should be checked periodically for blockage.
  • The diaphragm and valves are wearing parts and should be renewed if flow drops or a leak appears.
  • Because chemicals are involved, suitable protective equipment should be used during installation and maintenance.

08Frequently Asked Questions

Common Questions

What does the ORP-Controlled Dosing Pump do?
It reads the water’s pH or redox value through a probe and sets the chemical dose automatically. Chemical is given only as needed, the water balance stays steady and consumption comes under control.
What does ORP mean?
ORP stands for oxidation-reduction potential and is measured in millivolts. Because it says something about the water’s oxidising capacity, it is used as the reference value when dosing chemicals such as chlorine.
What capacity options are there?
There are four: 4 l/hour at 12 bar, 5 l/hour at 10 bar, 6 l/hour at 8 bar and 8 l/hour at 2 bar. Since maximum working pressure falls as flow rises, the choice should follow the line pressure.
Are the probe and mounting kits included?
The pump is supplied as a separate product. Mounting accessories such as the probe, probe holder, injection valve and hose set are supplied separately according to the layout of the line.
Which chemicals can it be used with?
The PVDF head, PTFE diaphragm and PVDF suction kit resist a wide range of chemicals. Even so, the material compatibility of the chemical to be dosed should be confirmed before use.

Delivery

Across Türkiye · 1–3 business days

Products in stock ship free anywhere in Türkiye and arrive within 1–3 business days. Items not in stock are supplied to order — the lead time is confirmed to you when the order is approved.

Installation and commissioning

Installation is a service · plumbing is the customer’s responsibility

The system is delivered ready to install; it only needs to be connected to the inlet and outlet lines. If valve setup is required, we provide free support over a video call. Installation and commissioning fall under our service work and are subject to a service fee. Plumbing labour and any pipes, valves and fittings are not included in the price; these items are the customer’s responsibility.

Warranty

2 years · manufacturer

The system is covered by a 2-year manufacturer warranty. During the warranty period, labour and parts are free for faults arising from manufacture or installation. Consumables such as filters, membranes and resin are outside warranty cover — they are replaced when their service life ends; they do not fail.

Withdrawal and returns

Distance sales agreement

The right of withdrawal and the return terms are set out in detail in the distance sales agreement. Systems that have been installed and commissioned, and made-to-order products, are outside its scope.

Cancellation and return terms

How can we help?

Two different requests, two different forms.

The two forms ask different things: if we are building a new system we ask about your water and capacity; if your existing system needs service we ask for its brand and a photo.
