05How It Works

How Does the Bubbler Water Dispenser with Treatment Work?

  1. Mains Connection

The unit connects directly to the mains water line, removing any need to carry or store bottled water.

  2. Pre-Filter Stages

The water passes through sediment and carbon filters, which capture coarse sediment, chlorine, off-taste and odour and protect the membrane.

  3. Reverse Osmosis Treatment

The water passes through a semi-permeable membrane and is cleared of the great majority of contaminants and heavy metals.

  4. Cooling

The treated water passes through the cooling unit and is made ready cool and refreshing.

  5. From the Bubbler or the Standard Tap

People drink straight from the bubbler with no cup, or fill a bottle from the standard tap.

06Making the Right Choice

What Decides the Right Dispenser

When choosing the Bubbler Water Dispenser with Treatment, headcount, intensity of use and water quality must be assessed correctly.

Headcount

The number of people on site and the crush at peak moments such as break time determine how many units are needed.

How It Will Be Used

Where most people drink straight from it, the bubbler is the point; where bottle filling is also heavy, the twin-tap arrangement is the advantage.

Mains Water Quality

The hardness and contamination load of the water affect filter change frequency and any need for pre-treatment.

Installation Space

The water and electrical connections, the drain line and where the unit will stand should all be planned in advance.

07Maintenance and Use

Notes That Preserve Hygiene

  • Filters should be changed periodically, and the interval may be shorter in busy places.
  • The bubbler outlet and the area around it should be cleaned regularly; this maintenance should never be neglected for hygiene.
  • The membrane lasts longer when the pre-filters are changed on time; these changes should not be neglected.
  • Installation and commissioning are best carried out by a technical service engineer; it matters for the water, electrical and drain connections.

08Frequently Asked Questions

Common Questions

What does the Bubbler Water Dispenser with Treatment do?
It treats mains water by reverse osmosis to clear contaminants and heavy metals, giving fresh, clear, odour-free drinking water. Its bubbler tap lets people drink straight from it with no cup.
Why is it ideal for schools?
The bubbler does away with the shared cup, which keeps things hygienic, and gives quick access to water in short breaks. It is designed with busy places in mind.
Can you fill a bottle?
Yes. There is a standard tap alongside the bubbler, and flasks, bottles and cups fill easily from it. Between them the two taps cover both drinking straight from the unit and filling.
Does it really treat the water?
Yes. The unit uses a reverse osmosis treatment system; the great majority of contaminants, harmful substances and heavy metals in the water are removed, giving dependable drinking water.
What is the advantage over bottled water?
Because it runs off the mains there is no carrying, storing or stock-taking of bottled water. The water is treated on the spot, which makes it a continuous, economical solution — all it needs is a filter change.
