05How It Works

How Does the Countertop Water Dispenser Work?

  1. Mains Water Is Taken In

The unit connects to the mains, and the water is directed into the filter stages for treatment.

  2. Through the Five Filter Stages

Sediment and carbon stages reduce particles, chlorine and the substances behind off-taste and odour, and the water clears.

  3. Stored in the Reservoir

The treated water is divided between the unit’s hot and cold sections and held in the internal reservoir.

  4. Heated or Chilled

The unit heats or chills the water as required, and you take it at the temperature you want.

  5. Served at the Tap

Fresh, clear drinking water is served hot or cold from the taps on the worktop.

06Making the Right Choice

What Decides the Right Dispenser

When choosing the Countertop Water Dispenser, how heavily it will be used, the space and the water options should be assessed.

How Heavily It Is Used

Daily consumption and the number of people determine the right capacity and model.

Floor Space

Enough room on the worktop and a mains connection should be planned.

Water Options

Your expectations of the hot and cold sections and their temperatures should be clear from the outset.

Ease of Maintenance

Service support for the annual filter change and the reservoir clean is a real advantage.

07Maintenance and Use

Notes That Preserve Hygiene

  • The filters should generally be changed once a year; a filter past its life affects both the quality and the taste of the water.
  • The hot and cold reservoirs and the taps should be cleaned regularly for hygiene.
  • After a long period unused the water should be refreshed; running a few glasses off first is recommended.
  • The Water Point annual service package covers the filter change and the hygiene maintenance on a regular basis.
