How Do You Connect a Three-Way Kitchen Tap?
Shut Off the Water
Close the hot and cold isolating valves under the worktop and drain the water left in the old tap.
Remove the Old Tap
Loosen the hose connectors and the fixing nut under the worktop, then lift out the old tap.
Fit the Tap
Seat the three-way tap with its gasket in the existing worktop hole and fix it from below; no extra hole is needed.
Connect the Hot and Cold Lines
Connect the flexible hoses to the matching isolating valves; make sure hot and cold are the right way round.
Connect the Treated-Water Line
Connect the clean-water outlet hose of the water treatment unit to the tap’s treated-water inlet; this line must not be mixed up with the mains lines.
Check for Leaks
Open the valves, run each of the three flows separately, check the connections for drips and let the treated water run for a while.
Connection sizes can vary with the model and the plumbing. Fitting the tap is plumbing work; if you are unsure, have it fitted by a plumber.
