Problem

One Stage Is Not Enough

In mid-scale laboratory and production processes, reverse osmosis on its own does not always give the purity wanted. The low levels of ions left in the water cause residues and measurement errors in sensitive processes.

Solution

A Four-Stage Combination

After softening and reverse osmosis, the Semi-Industrial Pure Water System removes the remaining ions with mixed bed resin as well. The ultraviolet stage at the tank outlet provides extra microbiological safety, and conductivity falls to near zero.

How Does the Semi-Industrial Pure Water System Work?

  1. Pre-Treatment & Softening

    After the sediment and carbon stages, the raw water passes through softening; the hardness is taken out and the membrane protected.

  2. Reverse Osmosis

    The membrane separates most of the dissolved salts and contaminants, bringing the water down to low conductivity.

  3. Mixed Bed Polishing

    The mixed bed resin holds back the cations and anions left after RO, bringing conductivity close to zero.

  4. The Ultraviolet Stage

    The UV at the tank outlet breaks down the structure of microorganisms and provides extra microbiological safety.

  5. Pure Water Is Delivered to Use

07Maintenance and Use

Notes That Preserve Purity

  • Conductivity should be monitored continuously; when the value begins to rise, it means the mixed bed resin is saturated.
  • The mixed bed resin is generally replaced with new resin every 6–12 months, depending on how heavily it is used.
  • The softening salt, pre-filter and membrane should be maintained on time; that protects the life of the mixed bed and the steadiness of the purity.
  • The UV lamp should be renewed at the interval recommended by the manufacturer to stay effective; pure water should not be used as drinking water.

Installation and commissioning

Installation is a service · plumbing is the customer’s responsibility

The system is delivered ready to install; it only needs to be connected to the inlet and outlet lines. If valve setup is required, we provide free support over a video call. Installation and commissioning fall under our service work and are subject to a service fee. Plumbing labour and any pipes, valves and fittings are not included in the price; these items are the customer’s responsibility.

Warranty

2 years · manufacturer

The system is covered by a 2-year manufacturer warranty. During the warranty period, labour and parts are free for faults arising from manufacture or installation. Consumables such as filters, membranes and resin are outside warranty cover — they are replaced when their service life ends; they do not fail.

Withdrawal and returns

Distance sales agreement

The right of withdrawal and the return terms are set out in detail in the distance sales agreement. Systems that have been installed and commissioned, and made-to-order products, are outside its scope.
