01Problem & Solution

A Membrane Works Under Pressure

Problem

The Wrong Vessel Means Leaks and Lost Output

Pressure is a critical parameter in a reverse osmosis system. A vessel of the wrong pressure rating or with the wrong port design can bring leaks, connection problems, lost output and a safety risk.

Solution

Five Membranes in One Body

The 5-Element RO 8″ Membrane Vessel houses five 8″ membranes in series inside a single body. Built to withstand process pressure, it carries them safely and simplifies the pipework and rack design.

02Key Features

Durable, Compact, Standard-Compatible

The 5-Element RO 8″ Membrane Vessel makes for a safe, tidy installation in industrial systems.

Five-Element Capacity

Carrying five 8″ membranes in one body saves floor space on high-flow systems.

A Pressure-Rated Body

A solid construction built to withstand process pressure keeps operation safe.

Standard 8040 Compatibility

It suits common 8 inch × 40 inch membranes and can be used with different brands.

Sealing Elements

The end-cap set, O-rings and retaining components keep the connections leak-free.

Membranes in Series

Running the membranes in series helps raise the system’s recovery rate.

Easy Service Access

Removing the end caps makes membrane changes and inspections straightforward.

04Applications

Where Is It Used?

The 5-Element RO 8″ Membrane Vessel is used on high-flow industrial treatment lines.

  • Industrial RO Systems
  • Industrial Treatment Plants
  • High-Flow Lines
  • Pure Water Production Systems
  • Well & Borehole Water Plants
  • Production & Process Lines
  • Increasing System Capacity
  • Vessel Replacement / Refurbishment

05How It Works

How Does the 5-Element RO 8″ Membrane Vessel Work?

  1. The Membranes Are Loaded

Five 8040 membranes are loaded into the vessel in series and joined with interconnectors.

  2. The End Caps Are Closed

The body is sealed with the end-cap set, O-rings and retaining components.

  3. Raw Water Enters Under Pressure

Water from the high-pressure pump enters the vessel at the feed port and reaches the first membrane.

  4. Passing Through in Series

The water passes through the membranes one after another, with some treated water drawn off at each stage.

  5. Permeate and Concentrate Separate

The treated water is taken off at the permeate port and the concentrated reject leaves through the concentrate port.

06Making the Right Choice

What Determines the Right Housing

When choosing the 5-Element RO 8″ Membrane Vessel, pressure rating, capacity and connections should be assessed.

Pressure Rating

The system’s working pressure determines the vessel’s pressure rating; seawater lines call for a higher class.

Element Count

The target capacity and recovery rate determine how many elements the vessel should hold.

Port Type & Connections

Side-entry or end-entry design should be chosen according to the pipework and rack layout.

Installation Space

The vessel’s length and the clear space needed for membrane changes should be planned in advance.

07Maintenance and Use

Safe Use Notes

  • Seating the end caps, retainers and O-rings correctly is critical; assembled wrongly, they leak.
  • Never open an end cap while the system is under pressure; the line must be depressurised before any service work.
  • For the membranes to last, the pre-treatment — sediment, carbon, softening, antiscalant — must be configured correctly.
  • A rising differential pressure or falling output should be watched, and a CIP chemical clean carried out when needed.

08Frequently Asked Questions

Common Questions

What does the 5-Element RO 8″ Membrane Vessel do?
It is the pressure vessel that 8″ membranes are loaded into in industrial reverse osmosis systems. It carries five membranes in series in a single body and, by safely containing the process pressure, keeps the system running as it should.
Does the vessel treat water on its own?
No. The treatment is done by the reverse osmosis membranes inside it; the vessel is the pressure-rated enclosure that houses them. That is why the membranes are selected separately.
Are the membranes included?
The membranes are not supplied with the vessel. The 8040 membranes suited to the system’s capacity and the character of the water are specified and supplied separately.
Why choose the five-element version?
Running five membranes in series helps reach a higher output and recovery target on the same line. It also simplifies the pipework and uses the installation space more efficiently.
Is it compatible with other brands of membrane?
It is mechanically compatible with standard 8040 membranes. Even so, the seating of the O-rings, adapters and interconnectors and the match of pressure ratings must be checked.

Delivery

Across Türkiye · 1–3 business days

Products in stock ship free anywhere in Türkiye and arrive within 1–3 business days. Items not in stock are supplied to order — the lead time is confirmed to you when the order is approved.

Installation and commissioning

Installation is a service · plumbing is the customer’s responsibility

The system is delivered ready to install; it only needs to be connected to the inlet and outlet lines. If valve setup is required, we provide free support over a video call. Installation and commissioning fall under our service work and are subject to a service fee. Plumbing labour and any pipes, valves and fittings are not included in the price; these items are the customer’s responsibility.

Warranty

2 years · manufacturer

The system is covered by a 2-year manufacturer warranty. During the warranty period, labour and parts are free for faults arising from manufacture or installation. Consumables such as filters, membranes and resin are outside warranty cover — they are replaced when their service life ends; they do not fail.

Withdrawal and returns

Distance sales agreement

The right of withdrawal and the return terms are set out in detail in the distance sales agreement. Systems that have been installed and commissioned, and made-to-order products, are outside its scope.

Cancellation and return terms

How can we help?

Two different requests, two different forms.

The two forms ask different things: if we are building a new system we ask about your water and capacity; if your existing system needs service we ask for its brand and a photo.
