It Is Connected to the Main Line
The housing is plumbed in series into the apartment’s main water line through its 1 inch inlet and outlet.
The Cartridge Is Fitted
A 20 inch sediment, string-wound or carbon cartridge, chosen to suit the need, is seated inside the housing.
Water Passes Through the Cartridge
Water entering through the inlet port passes from the outer surface of the cartridge towards its core and is filtered on the way.
Clean Water Continues Along the Line
The filtered water leaves through the outlet port into the plumbing and reaches any further treatment stages.
The Cartridge Is Replaced
When the flow weakens the housing is opened, the cartridge is replaced, and it is closed again after checking the gasket.
