Which capacity is enough for you? Let us find the unit that suits you best in six questions.
UV Spare Part · Light Source
The Ultraviolet Lamp is the light source at the heart of UV water treatment units. The ultraviolet light it emits breaks down the structure of the bacteria and microorganisms in water and renders them inactive. Because its efficiency falls over time, it is a spare part that has to be renewed regularly.
01Problem & Solution
Problem
Even while ultraviolet lamps go on emitting light, their treatment effectiveness falls over time. A lamp that has reached the end of its life cannot give the water enough microbiological safety, even though the unit looks as if it is working.
Solution
When the Ultraviolet Lamp is renewed regularly, your unit’s treatment power returns to its as-new level. Choosing the right lamp in the wattage and length that suit the unit is critical to keeping microbiological safety continuous.
02Key Features
The Ultraviolet Lamp comes in a range of wattages and lengths to suit units of different capacities.
Options from 14 watts to 320 watts suit every unit, from domestic to industrial.
The ultraviolet light it emits breaks down the structure of microorganisms and renders them inactive.
Lengths from 287 mm to 1554 mm suit different chamber and reactor sizes.
It is a spare part that fits quickly in place of the existing lamp in the unit’s chamber.
Regular renewal keeps the unit’s microbiological safety performance uninterrupted.
Wattage, length and pin type are chosen to match your unit, giving fully compatible operation.

04Applications
The Ultraviolet Lamp is used as the light source in every UV water treatment unit, from domestic to industrial.
05How It Works
The lamp is placed inside the quartz sleeve in the unit’s chamber and powered from the adaptor.
Once powered, the lamp produces ultraviolet light that penetrates the water passing through the chamber.
The light breaks down the structure of the bacteria, viruses and microorganisms in the water and stops them multiplying.
As its hours mount up the lamp loses light output; even while it still lights, its treatment effect diminishes.
When a lamp that has reached the end of its life is renewed with the right model, the unit returns to full performance.
06Making the Right Choice
When choosing the Ultraviolet Lamp, the unit’s wattage and chamber size must be established correctly.
A wattage suited to the unit’s capacity should be chosen; the wrong power upsets treatment efficiency.
A lamp length matching the chamber should be chosen; options run from 287 mm to 1554 mm.
The pin type of the lamp must suit the unit’s socket; otherwise no connection can be made.
The safest route is to match the model code of the old lamp in the unit exactly with the new one.

The system is delivered ready to install; it only needs to be connected to the inlet and outlet lines. If valve setup is required, we provide free support over a video call. Installation and commissioning fall under our service work and are subject to a service fee. Plumbing labour and any pipes, valves and fittings are not included in the price; these items are the customer’s responsibility.
The system is covered by a 2-year manufacturer warranty. During the warranty period, labour and parts are free for faults arising from manufacture or installation. Consumables such as filters, membranes and resin are outside warranty cover — they are replaced when their service life ends; they do not fail.
The right of withdrawal and the return terms are set out in detail in the distance sales agreement. Systems that have been installed and commissioned, and made-to-order products, are outside its scope.
