Centrifugal · No Filter · Never Blocks

Separator Filter Systems

Separator Filter Systems are used to spin out the solids, sand and particles that are denser than water using centrifugal force; with no filter element inside they never block, need no cartridge changes, and take the role of coarse separator right at the head of the treatment line.

01Problem & Solution

Sand Is Choking the Filters

Problem

The Cartridges Block Constantly

Well and artesian water carries a great deal of sand and coarse particles. When that load reaches the filters directly, cartridges block quickly, pressure loss grows, and both the cost of changes and the workload multiply.

Solution

Centrifugal Separation, No Filter

Separator Filter Systems spin the water so that centrifugal force throws the heavy particles outwards and down. There is no filter element, so blockages and cartridge changes disappear.

02Key Features

No Consumables, Never Blocks

Separator Filter Systems are designed to protect the treatment line where the sand load is high.

Separation by Centrifuge

Centrifugal force separates out the solids that are denser than water.

No Filter Element

It uses no cartridge, screen or media bed, so there is no blockage and no replacement cost.

Low Pressure Loss

With no bed to block, pressure loss across the system stays low and steady.

Easy Discharge

The sand and particles collecting at the bottom are drawn off quickly through the discharge valve.

System Protection

Taking the sand load out at the head of the line extends the life of pumps, filters and membranes.

Low Running Costs

Needing no consumables and no chemicals keeps running costs very low.

04Applications

Where Is It Used?

Separator Filter Systems are used on water sources with a high sand and particle load.

  • Well & Artesian Water
  • Agricultural Irrigation
  • Drip Irrigation Systems
  • Factories
  • Pump Protection
  • Cooling Towers
  • Pre-Stage in a Treatment System
  • Sandy Water Problems

05How It Works

How Do Separator Filter Systems Work?

  1. Tangential Entry

Raw water enters the body tangentially and picks up a fast rotation inside.

  2. Centrifugal Force Builds

In the spinning water, particles denser than water are thrown outwards by centrifugal force.

  3. The Particles Settle

Thrown against the wall, the sand and heavy solids travel downwards and collect in the sump.

  4. The Clean Water Leaves

Freed of its heavy particles, the water is directed upwards through the centre of the body to the outlet.

  5. Discharge

The sand collected at the bottom is drawn off by opening the discharge valve; no cartridge or bed needs changing.

06Making the Right Choice

What Determines the Right Separator

When choosing Separator Filter Systems, the flow rate, the nature of the particles and the position in the system must be established correctly.

System Flow Rate

A separator’s effectiveness depends on flow, so the size must be chosen for it to run within the right flow range.

The Nature of the Particles

Where heavy, coarse particles dominate the load a separator is very effective; for light suspended matter it falls short.

Position in the System

Placed at the head of the line, it protects pumps, filters and membranes from the sand load.

A Way to Discharge

There must be a suitable discharge and drain line so the collected sand can be emptied out.

07Maintenance and Use

Notes That Keep It Performing

  • The sand collecting at the bottom should be discharged regularly; as it builds up, separation becomes less effective.
  • The system should run within the right flow range; at very low flow the centrifugal effect weakens.
  • The pressure differential between inlet and outlet should be monitored; an unusual difference points to a problem in the system.
  • Installation and commissioning are best carried out by a technical service engineer; it matters for the right flow and correct fitting.

08Frequently Asked Questions

Common Questions

What do Separator Filter Systems do?
They spin out the solids, sand and particles denser than water using centrifugal force, protecting pumps, filters and membranes from the sand load.
How does it differ from a sand unit?
A sand unit uses a filter bed and needs periodic backwashing. A separator has no filter element; the separation is done by centrifugal force. It therefore never blocks and needs no cartridge or bed changes — but it separates only heavy particles.
Does it need cartridges or consumables?
No. There is no cartridge, screen or media bed in the system, and no chemicals are used. The only task is emptying the sand collected at the bottom through the discharge valve regularly.
Does it remove limescale or chlorine?
No. A separator removes only heavy solids. Chlorine and odour call for activated carbon, hardness for water softening and dissolved salts for a reverse osmosis stage.
Is it enough on its own?
No. A separator is a coarse separator and works at the head of the treatment line. Treating the water fully means combining it with sand, carbon, softening and, where needed, reverse osmosis stages.

Delivery

Confirmed when the order is placed

This product is not held in stock; it is supplied to order and the lead time is confirmed to you when the order is approved. Shipping is free anywhere in Türkiye.

Installation and commissioning

Installation is a service · plumbing is the customer’s responsibility

The system is delivered ready to install; it only needs to be connected to the inlet and outlet lines. If valve setup is required, we provide free support over a video call. Installation and commissioning fall under our service work and are subject to a service fee. Plumbing labour and any pipes, valves and fittings are not included in the price; these items are the customer’s responsibility.

Warranty

2 years · manufacturer

The system is covered by a 2-year manufacturer warranty. During the warranty period, labour and parts are free for faults arising from manufacture or installation. Consumables such as filters, membranes and resin are outside warranty cover — they are replaced when their service life ends; they do not fail.

Withdrawal and returns

Distance sales agreement

The right of withdrawal and the return terms are set out in detail in the distance sales agreement. Systems that have been installed and commissioned, and made-to-order products, are outside its scope.

Cancellation and return terms

How can we help?

Two different requests, two different forms.

The two forms ask different things: if we are building a new system we ask about your water and capacity; if your existing system needs service we ask for its brand and a photo.
