Membrane Filtration · Keeps Minerals

Clean, Mineral-Rich Water with the Ultrafiltration System

The Ultrafiltration System is an entirely physical treatment technology working with semi-permeable membranes of 0.01–0.1 micron pore size. It holds back bacteria, turbidity, suspended solids and colloids like a barrier while preserving the useful mineral balance of the water, giving clear and dependable water.

01Problem & Solution

Treating Water Without Losing Minerals

Problem

Turbidity and Microbiological Risk

Mains or spring water can carry turbidity, suspended solids and bacteria. Some users want to remove these while also keeping the natural mineral balance of the water.

Solution

A Physical Membrane Barrier

With its sub-micron pore membrane, the Ultrafiltration System physically holds back particles, turbidity and microorganisms, while dissolved minerals pass through and are preserved. The result is water that is both clean and mineral-rich.

02Key Features

Physical, Economical, Mineral-Friendly

The Ultrafiltration System combines efficient membrane filtration with low running costs.

Sub-Micron Pores

The 0.01–0.1 micron membrane holds back a high proportion of bacteria, colloids and suspended solids.

Preserves the Mineral Balance

Unlike reverse osmosis, it leaves the useful dissolved minerals in the water.

Chemical-Free Treatment

It is an entirely physical process; no chemicals are used for treatment.

Low Energy Consumption

It works at lower pressure than reverse osmosis, saving energy.

High Flow Rate

It works at a high flow rate, giving a continuous and steady water supply.

Long Membrane Life

With regular backwashing and maintenance the membrane works efficiently for a long time.

03Technical Specifications

04Applications

Where Is It Used?

The Ultrafiltration System is used across a wide field wherever particles and microorganisms have to be removed.

  • Drinking Water Treatment
  • Pre-Treatment Before RO
  • Industrial Water Treatment
  • Turbidity Removal
  • Anyone Who Wants Mineral-Rich Water
  • Mains Water Safety
  • Wastewater Recovery
  • Food & Process Water

05How It Works

How Does the Ultrafiltration System Work?

  1. Water Is Fed to the Membrane

The feed water is directed under low pressure to the sub-micron pore ultrafiltration membrane.

  2. Large Particles Are Held Back

Bacteria, colloids and suspended solids that cannot pass through the pores are held at the membrane surface.

  3. Water and Minerals Pass Through

Water molecules and dissolved minerals pass through the membrane, giving clear, mineral-rich water.

  4. Clear Water Is Drawn

The filtered water is ready to use, free of turbidity and with its mineral balance preserved.

  5. Renewed by Backwashing

The matter that builds up on the membrane surface is cleaned off by periodic backwashing, so efficiency is maintained.

06Making the Right Choice

UF or RO: How to Choose

When choosing the Ultrafiltration System, the water analysis and the actual need must be assessed correctly.

Water Analysis

Where TDS and hardness are high, UF alone is not enough; reverse osmosis or softening may be needed.

Mineral Expectations

If you want to keep the natural minerals in the water, UF is a better choice than RO.

Capacity

Daily water demand and flow determine the number of membranes and the system size required.

Pre-Treatment Requirement

On very turbid or dirty water, pre-filtration may be needed to protect the membrane.

07Maintenance and Use

Notes That Keep It Performing

  • The membrane should be backwashed periodically against blockage, so that the matter collected on the surface is removed.
  • If flow falls or the pressure difference rises, it may be time to clean or chemically wash the membrane.
  • On very dirty or turbid feed water, using pre-filtration extends the life of the membrane.
  • Ultrafiltration does not remove dissolved salts or limescale; where that is needed, the system should be supported with reverse osmosis or softening.

08Frequently Asked Questions

Common Questions

What does the Ultrafiltration System do?
It filters water physically with its sub-micron pore membrane, holding back bacteria, turbidity, suspended solids and colloids. In doing so it leaves the dissolved minerals in the water, so you get water that is both clean and mineral-rich.
What is the difference between ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis?
Ultrafiltration holds back particles and microorganisms with a 0.01–0.1 micron pore and preserves minerals. Reverse osmosis, with its much finer membrane, also removes dissolved salts. Where salt or hardness is high RO is preferred; where minerals are to be kept, UF.
Does it use chemicals?
No. Treatment is an entirely physical process; no chemicals are used as the water passes through the membrane. Only cleaning the membrane may call for periodic washing.
Is it enough for domestic use?
It is highly effective at removing bacteria, suspended particles and turbidity, especially on city mains water. But if the water is high in salt or limescale, reverse osmosis or softening may be needed as well.
How long does the membrane last?
Membrane life varies with water quality, maintenance intervals and operating conditions. Regular backwashing and correct pre-treatment keep the membrane working efficiently for a long time.

Confirmed when the order is placed

This product is not held in stock; it is supplied to order and the lead time is confirmed to you when the order is approved. Shipping is free anywhere in Türkiye.

Installation and commissioning

Installation is a service · plumbing is the customer’s responsibility

The system is delivered ready to install; it only needs to be connected to the inlet and outlet lines. If valve setup is required, we provide free support over a video call. Installation and commissioning fall under our service work and are subject to a service fee. Plumbing labour and any pipes, valves and fittings are not included in the price; these items are the customer’s responsibility.

Warranty

2 years · manufacturer

The system is covered by a 2-year manufacturer warranty. During the warranty period, labour and parts are free for faults arising from manufacture or installation. Consumables such as filters, membranes and resin are outside warranty cover — they are replaced when their service life ends; they do not fail.

Withdrawal and returns

Distance sales agreement

The right of withdrawal and the return terms are set out in detail in the distance sales agreement. Systems that have been installed and commissioned, and made-to-order products, are outside its scope.

Cancellation and return terms

How can we help?

Two different requests, two different forms.

The two forms ask different things: if we are building a new system we ask about your water and capacity; if your existing system needs service we ask for its brand and a photo.
