Dosing Pump · Well & Tank Water · Pre-Stage
The Chlorination Unit is a dosing-pump system that adds chlorine under control to settle out suspended matter and render bacteria inactive; it is used in treating well water, river water and water standing in tanks, and in making drinking and utility water safe in both public and private institutions.
01Problem & Solution
Problem
Well water, river water and water standing a long time in tanks carry microbiological risk. Suspended matter does not settle easily either; the turbidity remains and quickly tires the filter stages downstream.
Solution
The Chlorination Unit doses chlorine into the raw water tank under control. Bacteria are rendered inactive, suspended matter settles to the bottom of the tank, and the water is prepared safely for use.
02Key Features
The Chlorination Unit is designed to keep raw water microbiologically safe, continuously and under control.
A standard dosing pump delivers the chlorine solution into the raw water tank under control and without interruption.
Acting on the bacteria and microorganisms in the water, it improves microbiological safety.
Under the action of the chlorine, suspended solids settle to the bottom of the tank and the water becomes clearer.
It is an effective answer for treating well water, river water and water standing in tanks.
In a complete treatment system it stands as the first stage, easing the load on the filters that follow.
It is the choice for making drinking and utility water safe in public and private institutions.

04Applications
The Chlorination Unit is the choice wherever raw water carrying microbiological risk is used.
05How It Works
Raw water from a well, a river or the mains collects in the raw water tank where the chlorine will act.
The dosing pump delivers liquid chlorine from its tank into the water in the set amount, under control.
The chlorine acts on the bacteria and microorganisms present in the water, delivering microbiological safety.
Under the action of the chlorine, suspended solids settle to the bottom of the tank and the clear water is drawn from above.
The chlorinated water passes to the sand, activated carbon and other stages. Chlorine should be tested regularly.
06Making the Right Choice
When installing the Chlorination Unit, the tank arrangement, the water analysis and the dose setting must be assessed correctly.
For the chlorine to act, the system must include a raw water tank.
The microbiological load and contamination level of the water determine the dose required.
Daily consumption and flow rate directly affect the capacity of the dosing pump.
It matters that the system includes an activated carbon stage to remove the excess chlorine.

The system is delivered ready to install; it only needs to be connected to the inlet and outlet lines. If valve setup is required, we provide free support over a video call. Installation and commissioning fall under our service work and are subject to a service fee. Plumbing labour and any pipes, valves and fittings are not included in the price; these items are the customer’s responsibility.
The system is covered by a 2-year manufacturer warranty. During the warranty period, labour and parts are free for faults arising from manufacture or installation. Consumables such as filters, membranes and resin are outside warranty cover — they are replaced when their service life ends; they do not fail.
The right of withdrawal and the return terms are set out in detail in the distance sales agreement. Systems that have been installed and commissioned, and made-to-order products, are outside its scope.
