How Does the Pure Water Unit Work?

  1. Pre-Treatment

    Raw water passes through sediment and carbon filters, which clear it of particles and chlorine and protect the membrane.

  2. Fed to the Membrane Under Pressure

    The high-pressure pump directs the water onto the semi-permeable membrane.

  3. Reverse Osmosis Separation

    The membrane separates the great majority of dissolved salts, heavy metals and ionic contaminants from the water.

  4. Deionisation

    Ion exchange resins capture the cations and anions remaining after RO and purify the water.

  5. Pure Water Is Drawn Off & Monitored

    The pure water produced goes into a tank or straight to the process, monitored continuously on the conductivity meter.

07Maintenance and Use

Notes That Preserve Purity

  • The conductivity reading should be monitored regularly; when it starts to rise, the resin has become saturated.
  • The resins should generally be renewed every 6-12 months, depending on water quality and use.
  • Servicing the pre-filter and the membrane on time preserves resin life and the consistency of the purity.
  • Pure water contains no minerals; it is for technical use and is not recommended for drinking.

Installation and commissioning

Installation is a service · plumbing is the customer’s responsibility

The system is delivered ready to install; it only needs to be connected to the inlet and outlet lines. If valve setup is required, we provide free support over a video call. Installation and commissioning fall under our service work and are subject to a service fee. Plumbing labour and any pipes, valves and fittings are not included in the price; these items are the customer’s responsibility.

Warranty

2 years · manufacturer

The system is covered by a 2-year manufacturer warranty. During the warranty period, labour and parts are free for faults arising from manufacture or installation. Consumables such as filters, membranes and resin are outside warranty cover — they are replaced when their service life ends; they do not fail.

Withdrawal and returns

Distance sales agreement

The right of withdrawal and the return terms are set out in detail in the distance sales agreement. Systems that have been installed and commissioned, and made-to-order products, are outside its scope.
