Treatment at the Highest Capacity: the Hotel Water Purifier

The Hotel Water Purifier is a drinking water system in which a 1000 GPD Merlin reverse osmosis unit works alongside an 80 litre metal tank. Its twin membranes produce up to around 2,000 litres a day, meeting the heavy consumption of hotels and chain businesses with a generous reserve.

01Problem & Solution

At Site Scale, the Water Cannot Keep Up

Problem

Several Points Draw Water at Once

In hotels and chain businesses the breakfast room, the kitchen and the service points all draw water at the same hours. On a mid-capacity system neither the output nor the reserve keeps up, and the kitchen is left waiting.

Solution

1000 GPD Output + 80 L Reserve

The Hotel Water Purifier produces roughly 2,000 litres a day on a twin-membrane 1000 GPD unit and holds a reserve in an 80 litre tank. Through the busiest hour, production and consumption run side by side.

02Key Features

High Capacity, a Generous Reserve

The Hotel Water Purifier is a system built for businesses with the heaviest consumption.

1000 GPD Capacity

Producing up to around 2,000 litres a day, it meets consumption at site scale.

80 Litre Metal Tank

It holds a generous reserve for periods of heavy draw-off such as breakfast and evening service.

Twin Membranes

Two reverse osmosis membranes working together raise both output and treatment efficiency.

Steady Pumped Operation

With pump support it produces steadily and efficiently even where mains pressure is low.

Taste Filter

A coconut shell stage gives the treated water a more pleasant taste.

A Flexible Tank Option

The tank capacity can be changed to order according to how heavily the site uses water.

03Technical Specifications

System Details

Feature Value What it does
System Type Merlin RO + Tank The main problem the system solves. Pick the wrong type and the water does not improve.
Capacity 1000 GPD How much water the unit can handle. Choosing above your need does not strain it; choosing below it does.
Daily Output ~2,000 L How much treated water it produces in a day.
Tank 80 Litre Metal The unit’s reservoir. In a crowded household a large tank makes life easier.
Membrane 2 × Reverse Osmosis The reverse osmosis membrane. This is the part that decides how pure the water is.
Filter Stages CTO Block + Taste Filter The number of treatment stages. Each stage takes out a different kind of contamination.

04Applications

Where Is It Used?

The Hotel Water Purifier suits businesses with the heaviest consumption.

  • Hotels & Aparthotels
  • Chain Cafés & Restaurants
  • Breakfast Rooms
  • Canteens
  • Guesthouses & Lodges
  • Factory & Institutional Kitchens
  • Feeding a Coffee Machine
  • Feeding a Water Dispenser

05How It Works

How Does the Hotel Water Purifier Work?

  1. Carbon Pre-Filter

Mains water passes through the CTO activated carbon block filter, which clears chlorine, off-taste and odour and protects the membrane.

  2. The Pump Pressurises

The pump raises the water to the pressure the 1000 GPD membrane array needs, enabling high output.

  3. Treatment at Twin Membranes

The water passes through two reverse osmosis membranes and is cleared of dissolved salts and fine contaminants.

  4. Storage in the 80 Litre Tank

The treated water collects in the metal tank, building a generous reserve for breakfast and evening service.

  5. Taste Filter and Service

The water passes through the taste stage on its way to the tap, and as the tank empties the system produces more.

06Making the Right Choice

Is 1000 GPD Right for Your Site?

When choosing the Hotel Water Purifier, daily consumption, tank size and the need for pre-filters should be assessed.

Daily Consumption

If your requirement is approaching the 2,000 litre band this system fits; below that, the 500 GPD may be enough.

Tank Size

Eighty litres is enough for most sites, and it can be built with a different tank size to order.

Your Pre-Filter Need

Fitting a triple pre-filter system is recommended so the filters last longer.

Installation Space

Enough space in the kitchen or store for the unit, the tank and a socket should be planned in advance.

07Maintenance and Use

Notes That Keep It Performing

With regular maintenance the Hotel Water Purifier keeps its stride through a busy site’s tempo.

  • The CTO carbon filter should be changed every 6 months, the taste filter once a year and the membranes every 1-2 years.
  • Fitting a triple pre-filter system ahead of the unit is recommended so the filters do not block quickly.
  • After a long closure the tank should be drained a few times to refresh the system.
  • The first installation is best carried out by a technical service engineer; it matters for the pump, membrane and tank connections.

08Frequently Asked Questions

Common Questions

What does the Hotel Water Purifier do?
It combines a 1000 GPD Merlin reverse osmosis unit with an 80 litre tank to cover the drinking water needs of high-consumption sites, producing up to around 2,000 litres a day.
Can the tank capacity be changed?
Yes. The standard configuration is 80 litres, and it can be built with a different tank size to order according to how heavily the site uses water. The right size is set by the draw-off at the rush.
How does it differ from the 500 GPD system?
The difference is in both output and reserve. The 500 GPD system produces roughly 1000-1500 litres a day and works with a 40 litre tank, while this one produces around 2,000 litres at 1000 GPD and, with an 80 litre reserve, serves busier sites.
Is a pre-filter essential?
It is not compulsory but it is strongly recommended. Fitting a triple pre-filter system ahead of the unit keeps the filters from blocking quickly and extends membrane life.
How often are the filters changed?
The CTO activated carbon block filter should be changed every 6 months, the taste filter once a year and the membranes every 1-2 years. The exact interval depends on incoming water quality and daily consumption.

Installation and commissioning

Installation is a service · plumbing is the customer’s responsibility

The system is delivered ready to install; it only needs to be connected to the inlet and outlet lines. If valve setup is required, we provide free support over a video call. Installation and commissioning fall under our service work and are subject to a service fee. Plumbing labour and any pipes, valves and fittings are not included in the price; these items are the customer’s responsibility.

Warranty

2 years · manufacturer

The system is covered by a 2-year manufacturer warranty. During the warranty period, labour and parts are free for faults arising from manufacture or installation. Consumables such as filters, membranes and resin are outside warranty cover — they are replaced when their service life ends; they do not fail.

Withdrawal and returns

Distance sales agreement

The right of withdrawal and the return terms are set out in detail in the distance sales agreement. Systems that have been installed and commissioned, and made-to-order products, are outside its scope.

How can we help?

Two different requests, two different forms.

The two forms ask different things: if we are building a new system we ask about your water and capacity; if your existing system needs service we ask for its brand and a photo.
